Security settings

Select this setting item from Printer settings in (Setup).

Important

  • The administrator password may be required to change the settings.

  • Use of Remote UI

    Set when restricting use of the Remote UI.

  • Restrict destinations

    Set when restricting the fax destinations.

    Note

    • Sending will only be possible to registered destinations.

    • Changes to registered destinations will also be restricted.

  • Password policy settings

    Sets restrictions on characters when setting/using passwords.
